Magnesium glycinate: a simple guide
What magnesium glycinate is, what is in Noble Nature Magnesium Glycinate and how to take it.
What is magnesium glycinate?
Magnesium is a mineral found naturally in foods such as leafy greens, nuts, seeds, beans and whole grains. As a food supplement it comes in several forms. In magnesium glycinate (also called magnesium bisglycinate), the magnesium is bound to the amino acid glycine. This is known as a chelated form.
Noble Nature Magnesium Glycinate at a glance
- 1500 mg of magnesium glycinate per serving of two tablets, equivalent to 330 mg of magnesium
- 120 vegetarian tablets in each bottle: 60 servings, or about two months at the suggested daily use
- Non-GMO, lab tested and made in a GMP-certified facility
How to take it
- Follow the directions on the label. The suggested use is two tablets a day, with water.
- Do not exceed the stated daily amount.
- If you take medication (for example antibiotics or medicines for blood pressure or the heart), are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a kidney condition, speak to your doctor or pharmacist first.
- Keep the bottle closed, in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
A supplement, not a replacement
Food supplements should not replace a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. If you are unsure whether you need extra magnesium, your doctor can advise you.
